Heavy Metal Band Lead Singer Mitch Lucker Dies from Motorcycle Accident

The heavy metal band Suicide Silence’s lead singer, Mitch Lucker, reportedly died from a California motorcycle accident on Halloween night.

According to news reports, the lead singer was riding his new Harley Davidson in the Orange County City of Huntington Beach, California when he lost control and slammed into a light pole.

Lucker was transported to the University of California, Irvine Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigators claimed that they are currently determining the major cause of the accident and trying to figure out whether alcohol was also a factor.

Subsequently, Lucker’s death surfaced after the band announced it through its Facebook account, saying that “Mitch passed away earlier this morning from injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident.”

Suicide Silence is an extreme heavy metal band from Riverside, California. The band was formed in 2002 and since then, it has been met with great amount of laud and favorable reviews, although its musical style is referred to as “deathcore”. In 2009, it was given the Golden Gods award for Best New Talent by Revolver magazine.

The band was composed of one guitarist, a drummer, a bassist, and Mitch Lucker. So far, nothing about the band’s future plans was yet announced.

In the meantime, Lucker’s family, friends, and co-band members are mourning since they have just lost a great and talented man. Definitely, lots of his fans feel the same way, too.
