Nacioni Apologizes for Drunk Driving

Sacramento Kings forward Andres Nocioni may have been very disappointed over his team’s loss to Atlanta. Shortly after the game, Police stopped Nacioni after seeing his car weaving on the road. Nacioni was booked in jail after failing the sobriety test.

After his release, Nacioni apologized to the Kings, fans and family for drunk driving. In his statement, Nacioni said “drinking and driving is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. I made a mistake and I’m very sorry for my lapse in judgment.”

Averaging 9.8 points and 3.4 rebounds, Nacioni would have to face a potential disciplinary action due to his poor judgment not to mention payment of fines.

This incident left a lesson at least for Nocioni – do not drink and drive after losing a game.
