Mistaken Bid over “DWI Chair”

Just when I thought the drama on the DWI chair had been put to rest, another hurdle barred its dramatic conclusion.

For the second time, the never-ending auction for the DWI chair had failed miserably and met another pitfall this time on the bid itself.

Allegedly, the highest bidder did not mean to bid for $10,099.99. When Proctor police department informed the undisclosed bidder to deposit an amount of $2,000, Chief Wobig got a reply stating that the bidder made a mistake and could not afford the amount.

Chief Wobig was so pissed off that he called Proctor City Attorney Bray to look for legal remedies regarding the failed eBay bid.

This second failure might be sending a message for Proctor police – no one is interested in the chair!

This chair drama seemed never-ending. We just have to wait for the next episode.
