Rapper Soulja Boy Involved in Minor Hollywood Car Crash

Soulja Boy, the rapper behind the rap song, “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” was reportedly involved in a minor car accident in Hollywood.

According to reports, the accident occurred last Saturday in Hollywood when his car swerved into a female driver’s lane and struck her vehicle as she was waiting for the traffic light to change.

At present, police, car insurance company investigators, and lawyers are conducting an investigation to figure out who was really at fault in the incident.

People close to Soulja Boy say that the rapper was not the one driving his red Bentley, but his bodyguard.

Fortunately, it was just a minor car accident and the damage incurred by Soulja Boy’s car was also minimal. Apparently, no injuries were reported from the incident.

Witnesses said that Soulja Boy stayed at the scene until the tow truck that was to pull his damaged car arrived.

Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Way, became well-known for his 2007 hit rap song “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” that reached the top spot of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His most recent album, titled “The DeAndre Way,” was released in 2010, while his next album is set to be launched by November this year.

If you have been involved in such car accidents, a Los Angeles vehicle accident lawyer suggests that you do not leave the accident scene, just like what Soulja Boy did, since you could be held liable once you fled from the scene.
