Girardi Gives Back to a Crash Victim

Joe Girardi may have been very overwhelmed when his team won the World Series. Hours after the New York Yankees win, manager Joe Girardi stopped at a suburban parkway to help a woman who had crashed her car into a wall.

When interviewed, Girardi told WFAN-AM that he was very concerned with the car’s damage. He added that as his wife called 911 for help, he approached the wrecked vehicle to offer assistance.

The driver of the car was unhurt. He only knew of Girardi when he was informed by a police.

In stopping to help, Girardi risked his life of having to cross the eastbound lanes of the parkway near a very dangerous blind curve.

Another winning moment for Girardi, keep it up!
