BBC’s EastEnders star Dean Gaffney narrowly escaped death after getting involved in a horrific car accident last Wednesday night according to reports.
Recent reports claimed that the actor was on his way home alone after finishing a theater performance when he lost control of his car and crashed into a central reservation in Derbyshire Road in England.
Apparently, alcohol was not a factor to the incident since he was right off from his stage performance during that time as affirmed by his theater manager, Gary Johnson.
Although the incident only involved the actor’s car, the road closed to the accident scene was closed to traffic for three hours, authorities said.
The 34-year-old actor sustained head injuries, cuts and bruises. He was immediately transported to Royal Derby Hospital where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
Further reports said that Gaffney’s family is having a bedside vigil, while prayers from his friends and fans continuously pour.
Gaffney is an English actor who became famous for his role as Robbie Jackson in BBC’s hit series, ‘EastEnders’. He also made several appearances in other reality TV shows like ‘I’m a Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here!’
That was close, commented by a Los Angeles car accident lawyer. The actor was very lucky for surviving a bad car crash like that. He must be very thankful that he was very lucky for getting out of that wreck alive, he added. Meanwhile, he also wishes for the actor’s fast recovery.
