The accident occurred around 9 p.m. last Sunday. Locane reportedly consumed several glasses of wine before she drove her 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Locane first rear-ended a car and drove away but later on caused a second and fatal crash a few miles away from her first accident.

Her Tahoe crashed into the passenger side of a 2010 Mercury Milan as it turned into a driveway. The female passenger, Helene Seeman was killed at the scene while the driver of the sedan, Fred Seeman was critically injured.

The police stated that Locane’s speech was slurred and her eyes were glassy after the accident. She was taken to the hospital for a blood-alcohol test.

Locane, who is married with two children, is also charged with third-degree assault by auto and may be sentenced to a maximum of 10-years in prison if convicted of both charges. Her bail is set at $50,000.
